What is SR Score?

SR Score is a number between 0 and 100,000. It reflects the importance of a startup on the internet and its social influence. It is calculated based on SR Web and SR Social.

What is SR Web?

SR Web is a number between 0 and 100,000. It reflects the importance of a startup on the internet.
The SR Web of a startup is determined by a number of factors:

  • Number and quality of web pages that link to a startup web page. The higher the quality of the incoming links, the higher the SR Web.
  • Distribution of internal links – links that point to other pages in the same domain. The better the distribution of internal links, the higher the SR Web.
  • Number and quality of external links – links from a startup web page that point to an external web page. The higher the quality of external links, the higher the SR Web.
  • On-Page SEO factors such as:
    • Content of a page: The content should be related to the startup and the page title.
    • Title Tag: The title element of a startup web page is meant to be an accurate and concise description of a page's content.
    • URL: The URL of a startup web page is meant to be an accurate and concise description of a page's content.
    • The higher the quality of these factors, the higher the SR Web.
  • Estimated audience factors:
    • Number of estimated visits and unique visitors to the startup web site.
    • Number of estimated pageviews and pageviews per visit to the startup web site.
    • Estimated average of visit duration.
    • The higher the number of these factors, the higher the SR Web.

What is SR Social?

SR Social is a number between 0 and 100,000. It reflects the social influence of a startup.
The SR Social of a startup is determined by a number of factors:

  • Facebook engagement:
    • Number of likes for the fan page.
    • Number of likes for posts.
    • Number of comments for posts.
    • Number of shares for posts.
    • Number of persons engaged with the fan page.
    • The higher the number of these factors, the higher the SR Social.
  • Twitter engagement:
    • Number of followers.
    • Number and quality of retweets.
    • Number of favorites for tweets.
    • Number of persons engaged with the account.
    • The higher the number of these factors, the higher the SR Social.

What do have in common SR Web and SR Social?

SR Web and SR Social are inputs to our SR Score algorithm and the resulting number is shown on your Startup Profile. The higher your SR Score, the more difficult it becomes to increase, because SR Web and SR Social are not calculated on a linear scale else on a logarithmic scale. Thus, it is much easier to improve from a SR Score of 30,000 to 50,000 than it is to improve from 80,000 to 90,000.
